As I watch the prices of gasoline in the United States climb steadily and the profits for the major oil companies reach record levels, it occurs to me that the time has come for the people in this country to express themselves in a way that they cannot not be heard. For too long we have allowed ourselves to be lied to by politicians and to be led into unnecessary wars which ultimately only serve to further the aims of the military/industrial complex. This sorry state of affairs is further exacerbated by the fact that our so-called free press is in fact controlled by the same people who have the most to gain by our ignorance of their true intentions. I am continually amazed by the amount of suffering that I see happening around the world. This while America's leaders trumpet the spread of democracy and the need to support American ideals. A careful look at current events as well as recent history will quickly reveal that it is in fact these same leaders who are, through various policy decisions and lack of genuine concern for humanity, creating the conditions for which they profess to have the answers.
There is a huge revolution going on in the world which is being fueled by the internet and the access to information that it provides. To be uninformed in this day and age is absolutely inexcusable. It is with this fact in mind that I have created this web site. In the coming weeks and months I will be posting information on current events and offering my take on why they have taken place. I will offer visitors to this site the chance to comment on said events and to offer possible solutions to the problems that created them. It is my feeling that there aren't any problems facing humanity that can't be solved if solutions are in fact the desired end.
So, what's bugging me? One year ago I happened upon a website which was dedicated to asking some of the same questions that I am posing. It was created as an extension of the work of Dr. Steven Greer who left a successful career as head of Emergency Room services at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. According to the findings of Dr. Greer and the testimony of some four hundred former and current government, military and private witnesses, there is an ongoing effort/cover-up to keep highly advanced technologies off the market. These technologies would totally eradicate the need for the burning of fossil fuels. These technologies would further allow those in third world countries to significantly raise their standard of living and to become contributing members to the world community instead of being a source of pity and a constant drain upon the finances of developed countries. My question therefore is this; what can we do to make it known to the leaders of the world that we will no longer sit idly by while people starve to death or die in unneccessary wars?
